I believe the folks at CNN only reported that their poll came out as it did so they could tell all of their pro-gun control buddies that they are smarter than 61% of the population. Luckily, we know that it isn't true. Even more luckily, we know that submitting to others to provide for our defense is not a viable option.

That one is actually a trick question. I answered "Yes," but the correct answer is really "No," because the 2nd Amendment does NOT "give" us a right to bear arms -- we already have that right, courtesy of the diety of your choice. The 2nd Amendment guarantees us the freedom to exercise that God-given pre-existing natural right.
But there wasn't enough space to print all that inside that little circle ...
