I notice that the default font used on this Forum is different from the one used on M1911.ORG. That's fine. I rather like this font better. But I do have one issue.
New threads, or threads with new posts, are displayed in BOLD, but that boldface doesn't appear much different than the normal font (at least on my computers), so it doesn't stand out very well.
Has anyone else noticed this? Or even care?

I have noticed the new font and ... eh. I don't really have a preference.
As to the new threads or threads with new posts:
The bold face does stand out on my computer. Perhaps not as much as some would like (getting old there baby?) but I don't really have a problem with viewing it. Maybe it is your screen settings? I think if I had the screen set to a tighter resolution or set to a smaller appearance it might not be as obvious - and I know you tend to have a screen that looks pretty small. Could that be it?
And, of course, there is also the envelope icon in the left side pane that clearly shows if a thread has new posts.

I thought so, too, but I have the same issue on my Windows Vista system running both Firefox and Internet Exploder.
I guess I just gotta get used to it.

No, I noticed that too. The bold definitely isn't as bold, but it's probably as you said, just gonna take some getting used to it.
