Why Not Posting

Haven't been posting in a while. I am in hospital. Agent Orange. Will be here for some time. I have computer and will be able to monitor postings but will probably not be posting. I haven't abandoned. Keep at it. This site is worth the trouble. I cannot access M1911 site, hosp has access filtered. Just wanted to let you know I am still concerned about 2A.

Try accessing M1911 through a proxy such as www.proxify.com. The hospital might not have thought of blocking those.

I personally will miss your posts, hope you feel better real soon! The blocking of m1911.org by the hospital seems to be totally unreasonable. It's not like it's a porn site.
If you desire, I am sure that we can deluge the hospital administration with complaints from members of m1911.org and gunrights groups such as the NRA. Especially, if it's a government hospital, the NRA may take it up as a legal issue.

I don't mean to pile on any stress at this time. If you just want to rest a recuperate, I will fully understand.

Thanks for the kind words. I can deal with filter. Was in VA hosp, then transferred to private hosp. VA did not have facilities. Radiation and chemo involved. Would rather not take it on now. This is very good hosp. Doctors have cwp's, nurses have firearms. Very friendly. Filters
certainly legal people. Will be with you in spirit.

Hope you get better...you will eventually one way or another. The comment about not being able to log on to the m1911 site reminded me of the other day when I had to pick up my wife at the local hospital ER. She had something happen at work, but without going into details, I went to pick her up and to even get into the parking lot I had to stop for a guard at the entrance. He asked where I was going and I said "well I'm here to pick up my wife from the ER". He pointed to a spot to park at and I said I would like to park in the handi-cap parking. Well, of course. "...you cannot park in the hani-cap parking without a properly displayed permit". Me "I understand that, I have a tag." Him "...well, as long as it is displayed properly and you ARE handi-capped, you can park there". The conversation went a little bit longer, but I just had this weird, I don't know, I felt like, has the world turned into such a scared state that it is starting to become a fascist state? It just all felt too "gestapo-ish". Of course, after parking I made sure my weapon was properly stored in my vehicle so that in the event some crazy DID decide to shoot up the place...well, maybe that guard would protect me. I am just blown away by the way people are starting to behave.
