A provision added by Sen. Harry Reid to the Senate version of the health care reform bill protects the 2nd Amendment and prohibits insurers and agencies from discriminating against gun owners. My opinion: this is as it should be but this provision does not make the health care reform bill a good bill.

In their rise to power in Germany following the collapse of the Weimar Republic the Nazis took control of health care. This allowed them to mandate a LOT of things including what activities the average German could enjoy as they now impacted on heal care. Once you let somebody else dictate your health care you open Pandora's Box. :scared:

After the takeover they used the medical profession to eliminate all the "useless eaters" such as the mentally ill or retarded or disabled or deformed. They corrupted the medical standards until all but a few principled doctors and nurses refused to assist and then THEY lost their licensing.

You want to shoot and/or hunt? Think again. They will concoct all manner of cooked studies (see the Man-made Global Warming Hoax now exposed) to "prove" that these are "unsafe activities". :nono:
