A far-left anti-gun organization is now “training” (http://www.registerguard.com/csp/cms/sites/web/updates/22960369-55/story.csp") Oregon police on how to spot “hate”. The Southern Poverty Law Center (http://www.splcenter.org/news/item.jsp?pid=414"), which considers opposition to draconian gun control laws to be “crackpot,” has sent one of their "experts" to Eugene to teach police from multiple agencies about “Hate in America Today- a National Overview of Far Right Domestic Terrorism” (http://www.eugene-or.gov/portal/server.pt/gateway/PTARGS_0_2_354608_0_0_18/SouthernPovertyLawCenterTraining.pdf")

You will recall that in the brave new world of Obama, “right wing terrorists" include gun owners, Constitutionalists, military veterans and supporters of limited government.

The SPLC is a multi-million dollar fundraising machine run by Morris Dees, also known as the King of the Hate Business (http://www.chroniclesmagazine.org/index.php/2009/05/01/king-of-the-hate-business/").

SPLC denounces any organization that differs from their far-left,paranoid, but very profitable agenda. SPLC counts amongst its enemies, talk show host Lou Dobbs (http://www.loudobbs.com/"), The American Family Association (http://action.afa.net/") , The Oath Keepers (http://oathkeepers.org/oath/") and The Federation For American Immigration Reform. (http://www.fairus.org/site/PageServer") Oregon Firearms Federation is apparently an enemy (http://www.splcenter.org/intel/intelreport/article.jsp?pid=221") as well.

SPLC is a radical anti-liberty organization. Their involvement in "training” local police is a chilling development.

You are correct about this organization. I believe they get a lot of funding from George Sorros. Their web site calls for understanding and tolerance but their actual conduct is far from that. They cannot stand anyone that dissagrees with them. I once sent an e-mail to them with appropriate comments. Of course it fell on deaf ears.

We have arrived at an odd time in history here. Supporters of this country are considered to be the most dangerous terrorist threat to our national well being. Up is down, right is wrong....... Tolerance only works one way for these folks. We are supposed to tolerate and respect their views but they want us to shut up and sit down.

But we are the most law abiding citizens of this country, in my opinion. We mostly love our country and follow the rules. Rules are optional to leftists. We want our country to be whole and intact, not blown up and half destroyed. People like Bill Ayers and Bernadette Dorn don't have any trouble with trying to destroy things, hey, they tried to years ago.

In order to disarm us, they just have to pass a law banning firearms and most of us would comply to a high degree and there you go, the people that want things to be ok would become toothless. Those that didn't comply would get the police knocking on their door to confiscate their personally owned firearms. How are you going to resist when 50 or 60 heavily armed feds show up at your property with a search warrant for illegally owned firearms. I would imagine that they might even have digging equipment to locate buried firearms.
