Old Fashioned

Four members of the Detroit City Council have concealed weapons permits and carry and a fifth member intends to get a permit. This is fine but I see a little hypocrasy here. They have a nine member police security detail and can call for protection at any time but still feel the need to carry for protection. On the other hand, Detroit doesn't want the average citizen to be able to carry a firearm for protection. For the private citizen, calling for police and waiting 10, 20, or 30 minutes for them to arrive is considered adequate. I forgot, the council members are politicians and what is considered good enough for the private citizen is not good enough for them.
