It's truly amazing how elected officials pick and choose and decide to obey certain laws that support their personal agenda and flagrantly ignore and/or disobey other laws that are not convenient for their purposes. A private citizen would be arrested but an official will get by until challenged in court and continue to get by while the case works it's way through the legal channels.

The good news is that he didn't make it past the primaries so he won't be back for another term. He's a lame duck mayor looking to make a name for himself.

The proposed legislation violates state law. It won't make it, but if it does, it will be overturned.
