Texas just made some changes regarding conceal carry permits. Defaulting on a student loan no longer disqualifies for a conceal carry permit. Law Enforcement can no longer confiscate a ccp for refusing to display the permit if the holder is not in possession of a firearm at the time. The penalty for carrying a firearm into a business that derives more than 50% of its revenue from the sale of alchohol is changed from a 3rd degree felony to a class A misdemeanor.

Thanks for the update! I wonder if the businesses are required to post their revenue stream at the door. If not I wonder how you are to determine what their revenue ratios are...

Yes, there's a "51" sign that's posted by an establishment that gets more than 50% of its revenue from the sale of alcohol, and if they don't make the sign visible enough, this bill makes that an affirmative defense if you carry in there anyway. Also I think it's 50% consumed on the premises, not just sold, so liquor stores and the like would be OK.
