There none so blind as those who refuse to see, and, then there's Nicole:
Hmm... The premise of my arguement may be wrong. Maybe I should reconsider.
Too bad there aren't more people out there, like Nicole, with less pride and more courage!

MSNBC ran a poll with the following question:

“Is it appropriate for gun-rights activists to openly carry their weapons near a presidential event?”

Note how the question was worded, “gun-rights activists”. Interesting they didn’t use the wording “private citizen”. Polls are subject to wording and in this case the poll backfired on MSNBC, the result was 70% of 24,500 respondents said: “Yes – Law abiding citizens should be able to do whatever is legal.”

Actually, I'm reasonably happy with "gun-rights activist". It's pretty neutral without much value-judgment baggage. Normally from the drive-bys you'd expect something more like "drooling white supremacist stooge of the 'gun lobby' ".

Doggone it! Dial 1911 for Help, don't talk like that (drooling white supremacist stooge of the gun lobby). I didn't realize I was such a bad person. Almost made me want to hang my head in shame and turn in my guns.

Well, I actually meant to type "drooling NEANDERTHAL white supremacist stooge..." Glad I forgot, you'd be feeling even worse!

Now you also missed the "right-wing" and "returning veterans" part.
