Governor Bob Riley Signs Permit Confidentiality Bill!
On Thursday, May 21 Governor Riley (R) signed House Bill 432 into law. Sponsored by State Representative Jack Page (D-29), HB 432 will make all records pertaining to pistol permits confidential. While the records would still be available for law enforcement purposes, any public disclosure of this information will be considered a Class A misdemeanor.
