Gillibrand attacked and waivers on gun issues

Fellow dems and potential contestants have been attacking Sen. Gillibrand's stance on guns. As a result, Gillibrand is reported as having changed her position and is in favor of legislation requiring background checks to be kept permanently, rather than destroyed within 24 hours as now required.

The junior senator has to establish herself all over again. It is a shame that when one has more than acceptable views on 2nd amendment issues that when they get to the big show they seems to not only wavier but morph into what they party bosses say you must be in order to be respected within the inner circle and any possibility of election.
