It's not a question that is out of place on a gun politics site, since at the very core of the gun control and second amendment issues sits an inherent belief that man is either in control of things, or that things are in control of him. It's really that simple.
I have long been a fan of Dr. Alan Keyes and his views on liberty, the Constitution, and our obligations and duties as Americans to preserve the freedoms that are uniquely ours as set forth by our Founding Fathers.
I would ask any of you who have an interest in preserving our freedoms, and our way of life, to go to:

Scroll down and listen to Dr. Keyes speech at one of the Tea Parties held last month; this one I think is in Pa.
It is in four ten minute parts, and yes, has references to gun control both direct and implicit. It may also polarize you a bit more to the challenges that "we the people" are up against.
