Well after reading this editerial, I for one believe that gun control has and will become a front line issue in the upcoming political debates and forth coming elections.
Gun owners beware, because this administration will do everything it can possibly do to circumvent the Congress, the Constitution, as well as the Courts.
May I suggest that gunowners role up their sleeves and be prepared for a political fight.

Whoa! What's this?
Four years after a mentally troubled gunman massacred 32 people at Virginia Tech, and months after the Tucson rampage, the federal database created to track risky gun buyers is waiting for full cooperation from state officials. Congress should bolster and adequately finance this needed resource.
WHAT federal database?
I am very much afraid of too much Big Brotherism. We don't need databases of "risky gunbuyers." The existence of anything like that is just asking for abuse -- just like the air travel "No Fly" list that prevented Senator Ted Kennedy from boarding commercial aircraft at one point. It should by now be axiomatic that any database maintained by the government WILL be inaccurate and WILL be insecure.

Here is another gun control article from AZ, although it has National implications. The Democrat proponent of this legislation just doesn't seem to understand, as well as a lot of other legislaturers that don't get it, is that laws DO NOT prevent a CRIMINAL from breaking them.

You CAN'T fight a CULTURE of lawlessness with more laws.
